Nate Hogen aka Nature is an up and coming permaculturist. A 3 year veteran of the Village Building Convergence in Portland, OR (cityrepair.org/vbc ) and a Double Certified Permaculture Design Course student under Starhawk (earthactivisttraining.org ) and Penny Livingston Stark (livingmandala.com ), Nature has been apart of the sustainability movement for 10 years. Nature's permaculture expertise comes in the form of visionary sacred space creation through the process of what he calls "Earth Meditation Consciousness." His organic art installations at festivals over the past two years have inspired thousands. Nature is presently working as an apprentice for Dean Thomas (shamanshack.info ) learning the ancient secrets of Chinese Taoist Herbalism and spreading the raw spirit medicine of superfoods with Elements for Life (noblelifeelements.com/nature ).
